This is Thor, the big black bull who I photographed from behind the safety of the fence.
And this is the newest addition to the fold.
I felt a little nervous being in the field amongst so many horns, but the cows were far more interested in their hay than in me.
With the exception of curious Xanthi.

Oh, I am in love! I would pay to babysit those amazing cattle. Rural life is full of lovely perks!
Highland cattle are just so good to look at, beat the black and white ones any day, but a real jersey one with it's long eyelashes would give them a run for the money.
