Tiny Tracks

It's a little hard to see in a photo perhaps, but I'm pointing to the tiny hoof print of a baby deer.

Beautiful. I love how you notice these things, accept the world's invitation to look closer and take delight.

Are there a lot of them in your forests?

Good eye! I saw doe a couple of days ago, but haven't seen any babies, or their tracks, yet this year. You've encouraged me to look more closely next time I'm out in the woods!

One of these days you're going to have to make a coffee table book of your photographs.

I didn't get to see the baby, unfortunately. There are quite a few around here though...I see adult deer all the time (part of the reason I don't like driving after dark).

I heard the deer that roam the grounds of the ashram I'll be staying at this summer will eat out of your hand. Should make for some good photos!

that is just so amazing! I love seeing life like that and I'm glad you photographed it for us to see.
