This morning I was working my way down the row of sage at the edge of the garden, clippers in one hand and bouquet of fresh herbs in the other, when I spied this tiny tree frog taking a nap in the most fragrant of beds.
It reminded me of the visitor to my peonies in June.
He was unperturbed, still out there as I type this.

oh m! what a way to start my day with a smile and this little sweetie! we usually have them on our porch windows too...but have not stopped to check for them in a while. miss you and sorry i have been so silent but always thinking of you along with all the other great online friends i have not been able to keep up with! :)
How darling... we have to be diligent and observant to see the small miracles in nature.

I loved the frog in June, and I love this one, too! Such beautiful photos of this beautiful creature.
I suspect you could do a lot worse for a hammock than a sage leaf.
