Blackbird, Fly

On my wish list. This adorable plastic twin-reflex camera that shoots 35mm film. I'm already mulling over where I could shoot with it.

Love the instructions too...especially, "let's take actively."

That looks really cool! I have thought about getting a Holga or a Lomo at some point.

Oh, and I got to hear Paul McCartney sing "Blackbird" last week! Unfortunately a lady behind me with probably the worst singing voice I've ever heard was singing too, but what can you do?

And I started following you on Twitter. I'm jc14.

You saw him live?! Where?
Have you heard Sheryl Crow's cover of Blackbird? It's really pretty good.

Oh I thought that might be you but I wasn't sure! Good, now I can follow you too.

Hey, I can actually post a comment during the day because we had a sewage backup at work and they sent everybody home. Good times.

McCartney played last Wednesday at the new Dallas Cowboys stadium. It was an amazing show. There was a big singalong during Hey Jude, and I couldn't help thinking "Holy crap, I'm singing Hey Jude with Paul McCartney!" Of course, about 50,000 other people were too, but it was still cool! I haven't heard the Sheryl Crow version of Blackbird. McCartney was on stage by himself for that one, just him and his guitar, which I loved.

He also played the first part of 'Something' on a ukulele. You can download his Boston show here.

Why that looks like my late-lamented Kodak Brownie camera! I like this part of the instructions best "It is difficult until becoming accustomed. but you are absorbed in it when accustomed." Very Zen.
